Green Spaces Division


It is the duty of the Green Spaces Division to irrigate, mow, spray for weeds, sweep, and maintain 75 acres of the city’s parks, cemetery, and green areas and the facilities within them. It is also the duty of the Grounds Division to plant and maintain the trees located on the city’s properties.


It is the mission of the City of Rawlins’ Green Spaces Division to maintain the city’s trees, parks, cemetery, green areas, and their facilities to the highest standards possible.

Deer Proofing and Proven planting 


Weed Spraying in Parks, Cemetery and green spaces will begin May 25th and continue randomly during the warm months.  Please take proper precautions if you are sensitive to chemicals.  Contact Derk Pfannenstiel    Superintendent.
