The Outdoor Walking Trail which includes 7.5 miles of paved surface intertwining through the city incorporating the Continental Divide trail, the downtown Main Street , and the historic Old Frontier Prison grounds.
Rawlins Uplift Interpretive Trail walk from Rawlins Springs to Rawlins Uplift with signs about local history, geology and more.
The Recreation Center keeps fitness indoors with walking track, 3 gymnasiums, weight room, racquetball courts, and fitness equipment for a great workout. Classes and programs for adult and youth are supported by the center keeping the community active through softball, basketball, soccer and youth football. Parks throughout the community host certified playground equipment, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, bathroom facilities, pavilions for large events and great grassy areas for play.
Art Tour "A Walk through Carbon County History" in downtown Rawlins with over 20 Pieces of art displayed outdoors. Historic Downtown Rawlins stroll through over 20 independently owned unique shops and 8 locally owned restaurants. TRAVEL STORY'S

Latino Heritage Celebration - Downtown Depot Park, August 14, 2021. 4pm to 9pm with crafts, dancing, food, salsa cooking contest, beverage tasting, food, art and history exhibit, local restaurant food sampling, food and live music. Artist Johnny Sanchez y puro norte will be playing from 7pm to 9pm. Bring a chair, bring a cooler, bring your friends and neighbors. Enjoy the Afternoon.
