NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Rawlins Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the City Hall, Council Chambers located at 521 West Cedar Street, Rawlins, Wyoming 82301 at 5:30 p.m. for consideration of application for Final Plat which has been submitted by Rawlins Plaza Associates, LLP WLC.

 Agenda for Public Hearing:

  • Consideration of Approval for Final Plat: PZ 21-11-01: 

The Final Plat of privately owned property for the proposed Miles Addition Subdivision, also known as 2409 Plaza Street.  

Specifically, the plat of privately owned property located in and being a portion of the S1/2NW ¼, Section 15, Township 21 North, Range 87 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Carbon County, Wyoming and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: 

Beginning at the northwesterly corner of the Parcel being described and the northeast corner of Tract 4, Rawlins Plaza Subdivision; thence N.89 43’49” E., 557.21 ft along the south line of Mahoney St. to a point in and intersection with westerly line of that parcel described in Book 1246,Pg. 184, recorded in the office of the Carbon County Clerk on December 17, 2013; thence S.025’09” E., 125.07 ft along the westerly line of said parcel described in Book 1246, Page 184 to the southwest corner thereof; thence N.8937’49” E., 99.82 feet along the south line of said parcel described in Book 1246, Page 184 to a point in and intersection with the west line of that parcel described in Book 1107, Page 74, recorded in the office of the Carbon County Clerk on June 28, 2006; thence S.611’14” W., 540.72 feet along the west line of said parcel described in Book 1107, Page 74, to a point in and intersection with north line of Tract 3, Rawlins Plaza Subdivision; thence S.89 52’58 W., 280.00 feet along the north line of said Tract 3 the northwest corner thereof; thence S.0 17’13” E., 156.26 feet along the west line of said Tract 3 to the southwest corner thereof and the southeasterly corner of the Parcel being described and a point in and intersection with the north line of Plaza Street; thence N.74 14’05” W., 199.48 feet along the north line of Plaza Street to the south westerly corner of the Parcel being described and a point in and intersection with the east line of that parcel described in Book 1320, Page 169, recorded in the office of the Carbon County Clerk on July 30, 2018; thence N.0 15’34’ W., 266.53 feet along the east line of said parcel described in Book 1320,  Page 169 to the northeast corner thereof; thence S.89 41’33” W., 125.00 feet along the north line of said parcel described in Book 13020, page 169 to a point in and intersection with the east line of said Tract 4, Rawlins Plaza Subdivision; thence N.0 15’44” W., 496.16 feet along the east line of said Tract 4 to the Point of Beginning and containing 9.41 acres, more or less. 

If for any reason the meeting is cancelled, or postponed, all above matters will be placed on the agenda for the next regularly scheduled meeting.
