This board provides control, supervision, maintenance, operation, and expansion of the joint city / county airport to furnish airport service to both the city and county and to exercise all the authority, power, and privileges granted to such boards by the laws of the state.
The mission of Rawlins Downtown Development Authority/Main Street is to foster a vibrant, revitalized, sustainable historic downtown that creates an economic vitality while enhancing the quality of life for our community.
Main Street is a national program of the National Trust for Historic preservation that focuses on revitalizing a downtown economic district through the four-point approach: Design, Organization, Marketing and Retail Strategies (MARS), and Economic Vitality.

Winter: Rawlins Family Recreation Center
The purpose of the board is to advise the Rawlins City Council in promoting the physical and mental well-being of residents of all ages and adding meaning to the leisure time of the entire community, through the sport of golf. For more information, email or call at (307) 324-7529.

May 1 to October 31 the meetings will be at the Outdoor Shooting Complex, 2201 East Gun Club Road.
November 1 to April 30 the meetings will be at the Rawlins Family Recreation Center, 1616 Harshman
The is an advisory board appointed by council to help in the planning, maintenance and programming for the shooting range complex outdoors and indoors. Board questions can be directed to Community Relations 307-328-4500 ext. 1022.

Kids ages 8-18 learn marksmanship and safety using .22 rifles. This class is closely monitored. All equipment is furnished. Thanks to the community businesses the ammunition is furnished at a low or no cost. 1 hour a week for 6 weeks. This session includes the Thanksgiving holiday. There is no class that week.
